Jason and I have 3 kids. I run a family foundation, am on the boards of the SoHarmoniums, The WellMet Group and The Young People's Chorus of New York City. I love theatre, travel, reading, playing classical piano, cooking, my friends and all things French.

Originally from Chicago, I went to Amherst College. and then pursued my singing passion for several years at the New England Conservatory MM in vocal performance. I later earned an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business and have been happily working in private equity for the past 25 years. I have a child in YPC and am thrilled to be singing again!

I am a spirited woman who puts a lot of myself in my work and leisure. I am passionate about music, movement, performance and lifelong learning. I am blessed to be able to use that enthusiasm in my daily life at a teacher & instructor.

An alumna of Young People’s Chorus of NYC, she has performed in major music venues, in choral concerts and competitions world-wide. She made her Metropolitan Opera debut in 2012 and reprised the role in 2014. Her Carnegie Hall debut was in 2013. She is an events coordinator, vocal instructor and mentor with YPC.

Sophia is originally from Pittsburgh and graduated from Bucknell in 2019. She's been singing since she was a kid and couldn't live without it when she moved to New York! She works on the client services team at a startup and in her free time, she enjoys music (of course), walks around the city, crime podcasts and trying every restaurant possible.

I am the mother of two Young Peoples' Chorus alumni, William and Daniel Cabaniss. I live on the Upper West Side with my husband, the composer Thomas Cabaniss. I am a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst who sees patients and teaches psychotherapy at Columbia.

I am a New Yorker residing in Queens. What makes me happy and grateful is music in many forms as well as engaging in running, yoga, bike riding and dancing. I love being outdoors and visiting cultural treasures. . I am grateful and super excited to be in SoHarmoniums!!

After graduating from the University of Michigan in 2018 (Go Blue!) I moved to New York to work as a research assistant. Since then, I’ve been looking for a way to continue singing. I spend most of my time exploring NYC and hanging out with friends and family!

I grew up singing in the Peninsula Girls Chorus and St. Paul's Episcopal Choir in Burlingame, CA. eventually attending Amherst College. I also play many instruments such as oboe, saxophone, guitar, and banjo! I know Spanish, Italian and German and love to keep learning. I just moved to NYC in January so am enjoying exploring the city.

Charlotte Davidson, Alto 2, was one of the six original members of the Soharmoniums. She works in the state court system and has two college-aged children, one of whom sang with Elizabeth Nunez as a member of the Young People’s Chorus of NYC. A former violinist and pianist, she now mostly sticks to the ukulele.

Originally from Houston, I lived in N.J. for 27 years before relocating to NYC a month before the pandemic started! I’m a retired music therapist and preschool music teacher. My husband and I have 3 grown children, and one2 year old granddaughter. My hobbies include traveling and babysitting. I’m so happy to be joining a choir.

I'm a Crime Analyst and a native New Yorker. I enjoy spending time with my family and going for walks in Central Park with my 11 year old. I'm actively involved in my church and I love singing in the praise group. Now, I have been given the beautiful opportunity to be part of the amazing So Harmoniums, WHAT A BLESSING !!!

Blair is an Executive Producer of online edutainment content, and lives in New Jersey with her husband and her dog Gizmo. She spent her youth singing in school choirs (she ultimately became the president of her high school choir), and at summer camp where she became a vocal coach and musical director. She's very excited to be back in a choir as an adult!

In addition to running her own speech coaching and writing business, Julie is a professional actor who co-founded the SET Collective, a NYC-based theatre company. Hailing from El Paso TX and In/out of NY since 1975, I’ve studied singing since childhood with roles in many operas most notably Madame Butterfly’s CioCio Sun. I was a TWA Flight Attendant until 9/11. Among other groups, I’ve sung in Master Chorale and Collegiate Chorale. I will die singing. I love working crafts and learning to play new instruments. My wife and I have been together 27 years and married for 11.

A former YPC-er, I study Neuroscience at Columbia. I get to look at active cells in mouse brains while I hang out with other scientists all day! It's pretty fun. I love singing in Sohos, and also walking around New York and trying new kinds of food. And cooking.

I am currently an occupational health nurse. Formerly I worked in Television, Radio and Advertising . I lived in Houston, TX for 11 years where I had the opportunity to perform with Theater Under the Stars and the Windmill Diner Theater. Acting and singing are my loves.

Raleigh Mayer, known as the Gravitas Guru, is an executive leadership consultant, coach, and keynote speaker specializing in women’s career and business development. She has performed with the 92nd Street Y Broadway Chorus and Cabaret programs.  Her daughter, Maud, sang with the YPC for 10 years.

A native New Yorker, Dena was a member of YPC for many years, and still works with the chorus in various capacities. She loves all things music and architecture, and can typically be found in a coffee shop researching and writing about historic buildings, or photographing them in cities worldwide.

Born in Romania and raised in the Bronx, Theodora is an alumna of Young People's Chorus in New York City, and is a passionate music lover. She recently graduated from NYU Steinhardt with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education, and is currently a first-year elementary music teacher. Besides music and singing in choir, Theodora loves cooking, traveling, and watching tennis.

Trained as an attorney, but happier as a genealogist.  Loves crossword puzzles, British television, and old archival material.  As her first grade teacher once reported, "Barbara is a pleasure to have in class, but she needs to focus more on her work and less on chatting with others."

By genetics and wiring, I am more “happy-go-lucky” than not. As a volunteer, I visit political detainees bimonthly and serve on the governing body of Gould Farm, a therapeutic community in western Massachusetts. In my leisure, I enjoy swimming, hiking, gardening, reading and new adventures and too, singing and music making!
